I love this quote. I remember reading it for the first time at my best friend's house growing up. As I recall it was in cross stitch and made for her by her mother. I always thought she was so loved and special. She was chosen and an only child. That seed took root in my soul and deep in my heart I too always wanted to adopt. I always thought I'd have biological children and adoptive children. I also said I'd never be a step mom. Thankfully, God knows what is best for us and gives us more precious gifts than we can imagine. If there is one lesson I hope I can teach my son early in life it is to trust in the Lord in His will, and not of your own. Life is a gift and we truly have no idea what each day holds for us or what the Lord has in store for us.
